Mother's Day Gift Guide - 2013

May 12th is a very important day for families all around the U.S.!'s not tax refund day. It is the one day a year that is nationally dedicated to celebrating the women who gave us life...OUR  MOMS!!! Personally, my mom is incredibly easy to buy for. Basically if I see something I would like myself, I know she would like it as well. But some of you may not have it that easy.

If you are struggling with finding the perfect gift idea for you mamacita this year, watch my video below for not only what I  have purchased for my mom, but some other great ideas as well.  These ideas range in price, so you should be able to find something within your budget.

THERE IS ALSO AN AWESOME DISCOUNT CODE FOR PRODUCTS FROM ATLANTA DERMATOLOGY AND LASER SURGERY, including their Physician Endorsed Sun Hats, which are very popular among celebrities these days.

Without further ado (and please subscribe to my YouTube channel!!)

April Beauty Favorites

So who can believe it's already the end of another month in 2013?! Not this girl! But I do love evaluating my favorite monthly beauty products at the end of each month, so let's jump into this bad boy, shall we friends?

Here is my April beauty favorites video, which also includes 4 UN-favorite products that have disappointed me this month. I hope you check it out!

First I've got my Milani baked blush in Luminoso! This is a dupe for the cult-favorite, Nars Orgasm. However, where the Nars blush will run you a steep $29 from Sephora, this dupe from Milani is only $6.97 at WalMart (at least my store, it's that much).

My beloved Batiste dry shampoo (specifically the kind with a hint of color for dark brown hair) is already half empty because I just am obsessed with it. Because it has a hint of color, it does not leave a white or gray veil over my hair like other dry shampoos can do to brunettes like myself. Also, I have very oily hair and this actually allows my hair to look somewhat presentable on days when I don't wash it! I have already purchased a second bottle for when I run out.

While we are riding the hair train, I'd like to give a shout out to my Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment. I got this in a Birchbox a few months back and I love love love how smooth it makes my hair without weighing it down. Plus it smells amaze, so hollaaaa!

Let's talk nails, shall we?  I am head-over-heels for this polish from the L'Oreal Versailles collections in the shade Royally Yours (120). It is the most beautiful powder blue and reminds me of Cinderella. In my opinion, anything that reminds me of a Disney Princess get two (well-polished) thumbs up! The formula is also great and goes on then ail smoothly. I used 2 coats.

For the eyes, I have been 100% in LUST with my Stila In The Know palette. It is all matte eyeshadows, gorgeous colors, super easy to blend, great pigmentation, etc... I just can't say enough good things about this. I want to wear it every single day. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY, Y'ALL!! I love my matte eyeshadows, after all!

I have finally found a night cream that does exactly what I want it to do...moisturize! Through the recommendation of another YouTube beauty blogger, I purchased the L'Oreal Collagen Moisture Filler. It is so thick and creamy that it truly makes my skin feel so much softer in the mornings. It took me along time to find one I enjoy, but I'll be sticking to this for awhile!

Lastly, my favorite way to apply foundation lately is with my Sigma F-80 Flat Kabuki brush. It is soft as a dream, and I really enjoy how it blends out my foundation. Never again will I use a sponge, and I prefer this to my E.L.F. stipple brush for foundation purposes.

And that's all she wrote, ladies and gents! Make sure you check out  my YouTube channel and SUBSCRIIIIIIIBE! You don't want to miss out of more of ME! (HA!!)Pin It
